I have tried for weeks now to get my Vonage phone service to work. I have a Netgear RP614 Router and a LindSys PAP2 Adapter. I have followed all the instructions, enabled port forwarding, etc etc and still all I get is a Blue power light and a blue internet light on the PAP adapter. My internet and network works fine just can't get the phone to work. Please can someone help. I am not a computer illerate but I am not an expert either. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I am not at home now but will answer the question I can. The modem is a motorola and the ISP is AOL for Broadband. When I hook the adapter straight to the modem I get flashing blue lights on the power and internet lights. The flash faster then they ever do when the router is involved but I still do not get a phone light or dial tone.

AOL requires their software even with the broadband service? That has to be the most retarded thing I've heard all day... I figured the only reason they did that for the dial-up service was because they were one of the first ISPs.

Are you sure they don't just use PPPoE or something standard?
