on your phones?

It must be the signal not getting to me from Vonage. I have three phones in the house and most of the time after I check voice mails and delete the messages the Voice Message lights goes off. But today I cannot get them to go off. All three are still flashing. If it were only one phone then I might assume it to be something at my end. I know I can manually clear these lights but was wondering if there is a problem as this does happen from time to time.

It happened to me yesterday. I rebooted the WRT and it went off.

Yea...I tried that after I left the message. It worked. I forgot that I had done that a few weeks ago. It worked.

When exiting voicemail you may wish to try pressing * and waiting for it to say "Thank You, GoodBye!". I have read that some people have to fully exit voicemail to get their VMI to work correctly. Rolling Eyes

I have been. I make a point of it. It's only been once or twice that I hung up by accident but their was no concern of the voicemail light. I will certainly keep this in mind though.

Periodically it will happen to one of my Panasonic phones. Pressing * after checking them seems to help but rebooting the router seems to always work.

I had this problem with qwest too. I figured it was the actual phone, in my case. I changed brands, to panasonic cordless, and it never has happened again.

That's interesting. When I had Qwest I was using Panasonic cordless phone. Half the time I had to go around and manually clear the voice mail light.

Interesting...

I've got the same problem again and this time I cannot clear the VM lights. Even power cycling the Linksys adapter doesn't help.

This is a pain with a business.

how long do you wait before letting the problem annoy you? If Vonage's servers are slow, it may take a few hours to refresh.

I usually check my vociemail from the web site. Within 5 seconds of deleting the voicemail, the light stops blinking. Works great!
