Hi,
Had it for a few days now and very impressed.
Have had many people call me from BT lines, company PBX, vodafone, Orange and O2 mobiles no problem.
One person with a BT line for some reason is getting unobtainable - the continuous tone.
Has anyone else found this? |

Both people live very close to me, so are probably on the same exchange. The third is my own BT line, which I now realise has never worked !!!
Other people in the same dialling code, but a different town (so different exchange) have no problem. |

I'd ring Vonage and tell them the exchange you're on, and tell them that there's a problem. They can then sort it out from there relatively easily. Might be worth giving BT a call too and letting them know. Seems like there's a problem in the number translation settings between the BT network and Vonage's network. |

yeah you would need to call Vonage and let them know you are having problems calling into your line from local lines in your area
if could be that you exchange might not have been updated to allow dialling into the Vonage prefix your on
these issues are usually resolve very quick

It is now fixed, it took 3-4 days, but that was mainly BT's fault.
I must say the service I received from Vonage was EXCELLENT.
Thanks all,
Joe. |
