Post subject: eLNP experiences - please post here
Hi,
If you have tried
e
LNP, please post your experiences here. Success or Failure.
I am currently stuck with my LNP with nearly 6 weeks and am wondering if I should cancel my regular LNP process and restart it with
e
LNP?
thanks,
Osho

No disrespect manway, but lets try and keep the "me too's" out of this thread.
The title suggests that this could be a very interesting and informative topic. I look forward to the postings.

Post subject: how ??
So, exactly how does one do eLOA/eLNP ?
I'm on the phone with the
Vonage
LNP group and the gentleman is not able to tell me how to do it. He suggested I search for eLOA on the
Vonage
search engine. Of course, this yields nothing.
By the way, I had a terrible experience with Nicole Williams in the
Vonage
LNP department. She has to be one of the worst customer service agents I have ever spoken with.

I had a very good experience with it. See post :

I believe that I saw a link for the eLNP pop up on my Dashboard, but I cannot be for certain. I guess I was not really paying attention.

One month port from IDT to
Vonage
Phone number transfer status says it all:
May 4, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization
May 5, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received
May 7, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier
June 7, 2005 Carrier Approved Transfer
June 8, 2005 Completed LNP Transfer
After reading 2 or 3+ month LNP's, I was very glad mine didn't take as long. Just wanted to pass this along.

I used eLNP to transfer my number from MCI.
May 6, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization
May 6, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received
May 7, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier
June 8, 2005 Carrier Approved Transfer
June 9, 2005 Completed LNP Transfer
After the 20th business day, I made 2 calls to
Vonage
CS. The first call was made on June 3 in which I asked for the status of my transfer, and was given a ticket number while it was researched. I was promised an answer within 12 hours by email, which never arrived. I called again on June 6 to get a credit for service. As you can see, it wasn't long after that that things began to move. So far, the service works as advertised with no difference in call quality.

I feel for you.
January 26, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization
January 27, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received
January 27, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier
Still paying verizon and AT&T. I've been escalated and now upgraded to the "Executive Response Team". That means instead of a bunch of different people telling you absolutly nothing I have a dedicated person telling me absolutely nothing. Can anyone out there offer me any hope whatsoever? (
Vonage
employees don't count.)
I like the service and I have no complaints otherwise... I just want my phone number.
