With all the problems people have been having, I thought I would post a success story.
In porting an SBC number to Vonage using the web page form for the LOA:
May 18, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization
May 18, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received
May 19, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier
May 27, 2005 Carrier Approved Transfer
June 1, 2005 Completed LNP Transfer
It gave me the transfer date of May 31, and yesterday after 12 noon my Vonage phone started ringing using my regular line. This morning, I got an e-mail stating that it was completed.
I was extremely skeptical, but was glad that it got done as I am moving soon.
