As of today, I'm still having the problem.
Anything new in the last 6 months?

Wow, you found an old thread, but no, nothing new, I've gotten the tones since I've joined (May 2005) and there's nothing you can do about it. Although, in my experience, the tones are much less frequent on an RTP300 than an RT31P2.
One poster said that Vonage CS tried to blame it on their cordless phone. They tried to pull that with me as well. Problem is, I have two different model corless phones and two different model corded phones, all of which experience DTMF tones during conversations. |

Vonage did replace my router with an RTP300. This didn't help. In the end, I found a solution that worked:
Switch back to the local telco. Much happier now. |
