Tivo Series 1

I have a tivo series 1 (Philips Box). Alinksys wireless-b broadban router and the linksys broadband router with 2 phone ports from Vonnage. I can get everything to work, internet access and the phone. I can not get a dial tone for tivo. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

If you are only paying for one phone line then the line 2 jack will not be activated. If this is the case use a phone line splitter and run one line to the Tivo and the other to the telephone.

When I used the phone to call TiVo is used *70 to disable call waiting, and *99 to disable compression codecs. There are some other dial up setting that change baud rate and such but you'll have to search the Fax, Tivo & Alarms section for those.

I use TCP/IP instead of the telephone now so none of the settings are in my machine anymore.
