For some reason or another, for sure beyond my comprehention, Vonage will not recognize my phone. I have the RT31P2 router, which I got from Vonage and the inernet is working through it, but it does not detect my phone. The LED for the phone is not lit up, nor do I even have a dial tone, and yes my phone is on tone dialing. I have called customer service on my cell phone several times with them telling me that they would call me back within two hours and I have not heard from them as of yet. Plus, I have sent numerous emails to customer service with no reply. I have reset the router many many times and nothing seems to work. I do have an active account with Vonage. Can someone please help me with my problem. |

Did you make sure you have it plugged into phone port 1 and not port 2? I had made the mistake once after cleaning up and plugged my phone into port 2 and was sweating bullets thinking something was wrong with my Vonage...when it was my error. |

Yes it plugged into the correct port! When I got to the status page it shows that it is plugged into phone port 1 shows my phone number and then shows offline. |
