Vonage has been smooth for so long and from last one week it has been pathertic, my ISP conenction is just great as usual.I tried calling and cannot even wait because the systems kicks me out as it says that there are a lot of callers, pls call back later...no response to email..I have written atleast 10 emails...copied to all email address i can find on the web but no help..
If you dont believe me call Vonage and try talking to tech support or write a email and figure out how long it takse for them to respond..
I think i will stick to regular copper...for some more time.. |

Interesting... I've called Vonage 3 times since I've had the service (12/24). Each time I was able to get through within 15 mins. Maybe it has something to do with me calling after 5pm EST. I've also email them once and got a response within 24 hrs. |

i guess the customer service issue has a lot to do with the time you call--i work nights so i can call at "non peak" times. It also helps me knowing that we are the "pioneers" in what will become (in my opinion) the norm for voice communication in years to come....... our great grand children will read in history books about people who actually talked strictly analog  |

I,ve had Vonage for several months now and the service is good not perfect but good, once in a blue moon the call gets droped but thats from heavy bandwith usage from two computers and my son playing online game.
In these days everyone use cell phones and those calls get droped all the time, and many times theres no signal and voice quality **** yet everyone uses it like theres no tomorrow.
If I compare Vonage with cell phones, Vonage works better and sound quality? I have asked people on the other side if they hear difference in the sound quality, and they respond with it sounds perfect.
When I mention that I'm talking to them from the internet they are amazed how good it sounds, They could never tell the difference between telco line and Vonage.
I'm happy with the service
