Oh this keeps getting better and better, I just checked the status of my rebate on Webrebates.com .... "Awaiting Required Service Period" Well isnt that nice, Hey IDIOTS! I signed up in January, obviously 3 month in VONAGE months is different than 3 Months in normal Human months.

Anyone reading this, i would definatly recommend staying away from vonage, as they do nothing but give you the run around on everylittle thing.

Everybody, I also had this problem with 2 rebates for two PA2s, I waited for 5 months in the "required service period" status, I managed to resolve them by finding their rebate center phone number which is:

800-347.4017

They don't list this phone number anywhere but I managed to find it. After I called, my check was issued next day and I received it 2 days later.
CALL THEM !!!!!! ALL OF YOU !!!! BLOCK THEIR LINES, THEY DESERVE IT !!!!!

The phone service isnt bad, only complaint about the physical service is sometimes its hard to hear the conversation and it can be very echoish at times.

I have called, emailed and posted on this forum... no luck. It realy **** that a company that makes a lot of money cannot pay the rebates the promise to their customers. Every time I call the rebate center at Staples I hear the same BS...

Currently Vonage has a lot to offer it's customer; however, if their value was borderline to what others offered I would leave them over this rebate issue. It just really pisses me off and I know exec read these forums and still do not do anything to resolve the issue.

Vonage Exec, how about taking some ownership and working with the handfull of people here having problems getting their rebates paid? Would that be too much to ask?

>Again, there are other ways to go about getting the rebate/credit >that organizing a FTC/BBB war....

Well obviously there isnt, today i phoned the 1-800-347-4017 number to check on **** my rebate is, and they claim that vonage hasnt verified the MAC address yet, and that i should phone vonage customer care and get them to verify it as its been 8 months or so. So i phoned vonage and i was told that there must have been some sort of a error and that i should resend in my rebate, so i asked him (the vonage customer care rep) why, if there was a problem, did i recieve a reply email in may from a mr Edward McManus stating that it was A-OK and the cheque would be processed and sent within 2-3 weeks... so he did some more checking and said i should call the 1-800-347-4017 number that i just called ....big fricken help there... and on top of that he basically said this Ed mcANUS was lieing when he said 2-3 weeks.

So basically what iam left with is a circle of calling, and the admitance that Vonage customer support is a bunch of liers by a vonage techie...

Sounds to me like a well managed company.

I am in the similar situation. I am thinking of doing the same. I have never done it before but I have never been in vonage rebate kind of situation before.

I don't mind the delay but they are passing all kind of misinformation now. First I was told there is a delay but I will get the rebate. Now they are saying they sent me letter for not submitting the rebate properly in 01/2005. I signed up in 04/2005. How is that possible. I never used vonage or broadband before 04/2005.

These vonage folks are unbelievable. This is cheating.
