Hi,
I ordered Vonage on March 1st, 2005 here in Michigan(248). i wanted my home number forwarded and filled out the LOA, listing SBC as the curent host of my home number.
Paid the start-up fee or about $ 50, paid the monthly of 14.99, now they have me on autopay.
first complaint: I receive calls from patients wishing to speak to a Dr. Lee at Beaumont hospital. I ask them to redial and sure enough, the keep calling me.
Second complaint: It is now march 25th and no home telephone number transfer. I call SBC, they cannot do anything, i.e., I cannot request my number to be transferred, Vonage must.
Third complaint: 3 out of 5 outbound calls fail. Just goes dead.
Good things: when it works it works just like a land line. so am i supposed to be happy that it works like it should?
Does anyone else in Michigan feel the same way?
Is Vonage mass marketing, picking up too many customers? not enough customer support people to look after the LOA's?
