Hi Guys!
Let me get this straight. Are you saying that by changing the powersupply the problem was fixed? I am living in Singapore and have not been able to get a dialtone from my rt31p could that be my problem? I cant use the original supplied powersupply becasue the current here is differetn. We use 240 Volts I believe instead of the 120 V in the US. the power supply I am using gives me this... input:100-240V 50/60Hz
output: DC 3-12V, 15VA 1000mA
Help please!

If your output is 3-12V, then there is probably a slider switch on the adapter. If so, be sure you set it to 12V.

Post subject: internet works, phone does not
I have RTP312 and it was working for a month.
Then last week phone stopped working. Phone light does not light up and there is no dial tone. Internet connection to a PC via the router works just fine.
None of the following helped.
- Reset router
- Changed IP address
- Moved phone wire to second jack
I am reading about seperate power circuitry for phone and internet. That sounds interesting and could be my problem.
Is there anyway to verify if that is the problem?
Thanks
