Great news: The Caller ID Manager: http://www.privacycorps.com/products/?id=20 is fully compatible with Vonage Voip and provides Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR), as well as the option to block calls from specific numbers or entire area codes from local, long distance, international, cell phone and Voip callers.

Yes, they sure do! The three "Intelescreener" are still on my line and work flawlessly, hence my invitation to call me with a blocked number.

I should buy stock in the company that makes Intelescreener! LOL!

Well through some research they both look good, the http://www.intelescreener.com/ is out of stock @ I think $79.95 and unable to call their 1-918-599-7315 (7318) with my home or cell the 1-866 # has no new info for the product...sooo it looks as though http://www.privacycorps.com/products/?id=20 would be a fine option.

I like this!!!!!!!... but I would first like to check Best Buy to see if I can get a device locally ,this is what I have been needing for some time with unwanted calls even though I'm on the National do not call list (updated today) and this would be a great feature that Vonage does need to incorporate into it's system. Happy vonaging brother

Do your intellescreeners interfered with the callerID?

Meaning:

The # shows up on the intellescreener, but it won't show up on the phone?

I had a Panasonic 2.4ghz system and it would never show the numbers with the Intellescreener "before" the phone.

I got a Uniden CLX 485 ( i think that's the one) and it works sometimes with the intellescreener in front of it.

If I connect the Vonage line directly to the phone, caller ID always works.

Put the intellescreener back on, and sometimes the #'s show up and sometimes it's "incomplete data".

I have not had a problem with Caller-ID on the Intelescreeners so far. I use two on my phone lines, and one on the fax #. My Vonage and another Voip company's line both are hooked up to a dual-line Panasonic KX-TG6500 Caller-ID compatible portable phone. My sister's Vonage line is connected to a GE 900 MHz Caller-ID phone with a base station and portable handset in her bedroom. All Caller-ID has come through for both of us, to the best of my knowledge.
You might check with Intelescreener Customer Service for any compatibility issues, and please post the results here!

You can't order the http://www.intelescreener.com/ any longer. They have been out of stock for over 1 1/2 months.

Several e-mails and phone calls later still no idea when...

The other option is far more expensive....

I can not wait to have "Anonymous Call Rejection" feature to have callers identify themselves in order to get the call though.
It should be call reciever to choose to answer NOT the caller to choose to talk and HANGUP. Don't you agree.

I block ALL anonymous calls... ALL of them. If someone wants to speak to me, why would they block the number? Even when the caller can identify themselves via recording, they could be giving false information as to their identity.

Blocked numbers--no matter WHO they are--are totally blocked from ringing my phone.

"Calling-Party Caller ID Block" is ridiculous. I never block my number from being displayed on an outgoing call.

Bottomline is that this feature is offered by default by many other Voip providers.

This is a simple config and Vonage is dragging their feet to implement it! Besides, when and if they ever get to do it, they should not be charging us for it.

Interesting...I assume these are numbers you had ported over? Becuase on my Vonage "created" number I have yet to receive an anonymous call yet...

I am not sure Vonage is actually applying different policies to newly assigned numbers...

Maybe , the reason you not be getting Annonymous Calls is because your number is new and it has not yet been dragged into a telemarketers list javascript:emoticon('Very Happy')
