Id like to see a feature where I dont ever have to dial the *67 before every phone call I make to block my phone number on caller id.
I dont like sharing my phone number, but its a pain in the butt to have to dial *67 everytime, and I forget to do it every now and then.
I remember my land line phone provider had a feature that when enabled all calls where blocked and when i wanted to temporarily unblock my number i would dial a temporary code for that call only.
It would be nice to see this feature added to Vonage.

I asked for this long ago from Vonage and I am still waiting. This feature request just makes common sense to me. For those of us who don't like to share our number and are unlisted etc... Why would we want to dial *67 before every call? Come on Vonage, step up and make this happen! |

The *67 feature to hide your number from the person you are calling works for me and to my knowledge has been working since I initially got this unit in November. I simple dial *67xxxxxxxxx and it rings as an unknown number.
You many want to contact Tech Support to find out why it is not working in your area.
Peace. |

Actually, you missed the point. The point of this topic is to make this a default and not have to dial the *67 before each call manually. The bells all do it, why can't Vonage! |

Vonage is also taking their sweet time implementing Anonymous Call Rejection, yet other VoIP providers offer it.
I think Vonage is trying to keep up with just providing service right now. They've had a really aggresive advertising campaign and I bet that there are quite a few more subscribers judging by the number of tech support folks that they have brought in. |
