192.168.1.105 doesn't work. my network configuration is as follows:
cable modem---vt1005v---router---+(multiple pcs)
the lan ip address of the router is 192.168.1.1. it does dhcp from 192.168.1.2-49. i can't access the web-based config page of the vt1005v. i tried changing the ip when i was trying to access it before, so maybe that's why i can't get to it anymore? shouldn't the vt1005v be doing dhcp to get the wan ip from the cable modem anyhow?
my phone service and internet are working fine, though. |

i must've mistyped the ip. i tried 192.168.102.1, also. it doesn't work. i put the vt1005 behind the firewall (only way it would work), and enabled it as a DMZ host so i wouldn't have to forward any port ranges (my smc barricade doesn't forward ranges, only single ports).
i verified that its dhcp ip address is 192.168.1.5. however, i can't access the config page from that ip, either. also, does putting it behind the firewall negate the device's QoS features? |

ok. i was finally able to set it all up and reach the vt1005 config page. what i did was set the wan ip of my router to 192.168.102.100, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, gateway 129.168.102.1 (the address of the vt1005v). |
