Post subject: fax/printer/copier problems
I hooked up my new all in one fax/printer/copier to my
vonage
line. I tried it in line 2 on the
vonage
adapter and it tells me no answer. I tried it on line 1 of
vonage
adapter and it tells me no answer. I hear it dialing the #, but it won't transmit. What am I doing wrong. I am using my existing
vonage
phone line as I do not want to pay 9.99 month for a fax line from
vonage
that I may use maybe twice a year! Thanks

Ok, I finally got it to work. All I had to do was unplug the line 1 on the back of my
vonage
adapter from phone and plug in the fax line into there. I guess my next question before I buy a splitter is this. Will I be able to have both plugged into a splitter and then plug that directly into the line 1 for both to work? I forsee it not being very fun plugging and unplugging every time I need to send something. Thanks
