Hi Everyone,
First, let me start off by saying that so far Vonage has been great. The only thing I dont really like is not being able to look at my answering machine and see how many new voicemails I have. Does anyone know if there is a phone out there that has this type of functionality? I would even settle for a blinking light or something to give me a heads up to check my voicemail.
Here's what I am doing right now to get by: I set up an email address (voicemail@enterYourDomain.com) and have email forwarding set up to forward the message to my home and work email accounts, my cell phone as a SMS message, and my wife's email account.
Also, is there a way to access your voicemail over the phone without having to enter you 11 digit account number? This is a royal pain in the keester.
Thanks,
-Clay |

I bought a Panasonic 5.8Ghz phone with the message indicator light. Works great.
Actually it came with two handsets, and they both show the message indicator. |

Hey,
I just purchased the Uniden Cordless Phone Bundle (TRU8865-2)from Circuit City this weekend and it works great! Each handset has a Vmail indicator light and they flash when you have a message. It also has a vmail soft key that can be programmed to take you straight to your messages. this phone works great with Vonage and has caused no problems with my wireless network. This model is 5.8Ghz both ways where some are 5.8Ghz one way and 2.4Ghz the other. Be sure to verify this before purchasing a %.8Ghz cordless. |

when you call form your home phone, just dial *123 and all it will ask for is your PIN# but you can put that into a speed dial with the *123 and some pauses if you like..
and yes, there are lots of phones that will flash a light or display a msg on teh screen if it senses the studder tone for new VM.. |

not sure why you replied since LC had it covered, but to reiterate, as he stated, some people have to enter their phone number even when they dial *123. LC posted the code sequence to turn that off. I imagine the same code sequence will turn it back on too if you want to try that. |
