Kidding!. Check in your account in the member services, then look for what time zone you're set in. If that looks right, check your system tray clock for the date and time.

5:18AM here in the Philippines

678 (GA - Line 1) is down and has been down for about an hour
847 (IL - Line 2) is down and has been down for about an hour
* Both lines DO NOT have a dial tone

404 (Softphone) is down; have a dialtone but get a busy signal after dialing

Can't log on to Vonage website either.

Well, that was fast -- back up in 615. If I hadn't tried to use the phone for another 15 minutes, I'd have never realized it happened. Smile Didn't have to reset or anything here.

Tech Support reported that they had experienced a FULL SYSTEM CRASH, so of course nothing works.

Their switch must be working properly in order to look up your emergency forwarding number and forward incoming calls to it, which it can't do if the thing is down. That's the problem, their switch is down, so you get no outgoing, no incoming, no forwarding, and no voice mail.

There is nothing on the other end to process any of these transactions because it's down.

Which goes back to the point I made above: if it's that important to you or your business, you gotta have some fallback plan. Either keep your copper or advertise a second number that is a cell phone or do something so that you're not depending on a sole source for your telecom lifeline.

If you can't justify the expense then it must not be that important so you really don't have grounds to complain too much.

Just cause they sell it don't mean it's great.
