have a dedicated fax line .. when some senders send faxes, works with no problem, but with others sending there is an error and the fax is not received correctly.
I realize there are settings that I can try, but as the "new guy" can anyone point me to some troubleshooting and settings tips? I'd HATE to give up Vonage! |

Turn off error checking for your fac, especially if it is your computer.
If it persists call Vonage, they can make adjustments.
I had a similar issue with long faxes and some fax senders, everyting works amazingly well now. |

I contacted Vonage TS, the guy was very helpful and made some changes on the Vonage end; however, still having some issues with receiving from certain fax machines.
I have looked into turning off ECM on the Ricoh 2050L fax machine I am using. But Ricoh says I need to call a technician to change the software settings. I am fairly technical -- anyone know how to disable ECM on a Ricoh Fax 2050L? ;}
