My Sharp UX-P200 works fine without changing anything. I find that I should limit myself to 3 pages at a time, or I will get a line error. Otherwise no complaints!

Has anyone tried the new HP 3310 Photosmart?
I would like to know if it works with Vonage.

I may be getting an old HP 920 fax machine. Was curious do I HAVE to purchase another line from Vonage or can I just use the main line I have for regular phone service and just split off of line 1 like you would on a traditional POTS line?

I read the document posted on here on how to lower the Brother 7820n baud rate, but nowhere in it does it have the codes for the 7820n. I am a little reluctant to try the other codes because it says if you enter the wrong one the printer will malfunction. I called Brother and they are no help, they say that their printers will not work with Voip regardless of speed. Those of you who have a 7820n and got it to work please.... HELP me.

As reference and possible help, I tried almost every suggestion in this forum to get my HP7130 to fax with Vonage. Finally found if I only used two wire phone cords/splitters, it worked. If there were any four wire cords connected anywhere in the system -- either to the fax or from the fax to a phone (i.e.; from the modem to the fax, modem through a splitter with splitter having 4-wires even though input and output cord had just two, from the fax to a phone, etc), it would not send or receive.

Once I eliminated all 4-line cords and splitters, I was able to send and receive faxes.

What I find odd here is that I've got a 7820N plugged in to my Linksys Vonage box and she faxes just fine. It'll forget it's on at network but seems to fax through Vonage at what seems like good speeds.

I haven't seen any way to set the outgoing baud rate either via the printer's menuing system, the configuration program that accesses the device via USB, through BRAdmin that accesses the 7820N via the network and last, it's internal web pages.

Ah.... Technology....

Same problem here. After days of trying to get this thing to even print from my PC (Mac worked fine) every time I try to fax I get a busy signal. Yet I can receive faxes no problem.

A call to Brother resulted in "VOIP is a new technology. We suggest you use a regular land line". Which I did (temporarily) and it was able to fax out just fine.

So what's up here? My old Canon worked fine. So did another Brother unit. And this one doesn't.

What is the procedure to lower the baud rate on this unit. The manual has nothing except for the overseas setting. And *99 didn't work. How bloody frustrating.

I split one line for voice and fax, and run it into a Lexmark All in one scanner/fax/copier and it works like a champ.
