I have noticed that my Uniden cordless phones will display the caller name & number, but the time/date information isn't there (0's for date, etc.).

Has anyone else seen this?

I am not helpful. I don't have that problem. I have sometimes a 1 will show up and other calls will be 11 digits. The calls are from various places, Florida, St. Louis, Indiana and some from Vonage to Vonage and others from cell phones and landline.

what phone is it trex. uniden makes a few last time I looked. haven't seen anyone complain about this problem recently though. you're sure it's not user definable thought right?

It is the Uniden Tru8865 expandable cordless set.

There is a built in clock, but it doesn't support date/time.

They do support callerid with call waiting also.

I have the tru8888 and I have no issues what so ever. Well except for 11 digits showing up on my cid all the time

has it worked before? I have the 8860, and judging by the 8865's manual it looks like you need to set the time yourself. I've never tried not setting the time or setting the time wrong to see if the correct time shows up on cid. I wouldn't think it would, but with all the problems people had with the time change, it's possible.

The phone time is set. I don't believe it uses that information through as the caller id maintains both time and date.

Yes it did work at one point.

The only setting I haven't tried changing on the phones was the callerid w/call waiting setting.

Currently I have that set to ON. Is that the correct setting for Vonage?

My uniden tru8888 will set its time from cid. I can also manually set the time if I wish to.
