...Verizon has failed to meet their deadline for transfer!

First I had this...

March 15, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization
March 19, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received
March 19, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier
April 25, 2005 Carrier Approved Transfer

Transfer Date: April 26, 2005

No transfer happened.

Then the dashboard updated to this...

April 27, 2005 Transfer Date Revised

Transfer Date: April 28, 2005

Here I am at 5:57 PM on the 28th and guess what - no transfer. The odd thing is right on verizon's site it says today was the deadline for completion of the disconnect order.

WHY can't Verizon keep their promises? I know this isn't Vonage's fault, so I'm blaming Verizon.

I just looked at the details on the order on Verizon's site (I didn't realize you could get details - lol).

Anyway, it says the appointment time is 3:00PM to 7:00PM. They are still rapidly running out of time to meet their own deadline. I'm feeling doubtful that they will. I really don't trust them to be honest.

My number also ported on 4/28. But instead of porting in the PM they ported in AM. The war is over!
