Yep, I've got PPP over serial running. It works fine, but I'd like the Tivos to dial up successfully without constantly having to lug out my laptop and swap cables.

your firmware should be 1.28.00 and your voice version should be 2.0.14 (LIVa), 1.24 is very outdated

1.24 is what Joe from
Vonage
sent me just yesterday. Where can I get 1.28.00?

Post subject: Firmware Upgrade Status..
I posted a PM over a week ago and haven't heard a thing. I was able to get my Tivo to dial out again, but now it has quit. Has anyone been contacted recently about the upgrade? I did get a CS email from
Vonage
with some non-relavent information.

Well, I sent my PM a week ago too, and so far all I got was an outdated firmware emailed to me. Clearly this is what passes as customer service at Vonage...

Post subject: Echo on my phone after packet size change
Before upgrading the new firmware, but after the tech support guy from
Vonage
changed my packet size to 10, my phone line has been having this very annoying echo that only the person calling in can hear. I read somewhere else in this forum about someone else that was ALSO having the echo after the packet size change, so I'm wondering if that is the culprit.
Can the user change the packet size? Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks!
