If it doesnt work it doesnt mean it never will, this is revision 0 of this firmware, as more and more people test it and give us thier feedback we can improve it and find out what works and what does not work.

We are pretty much done calling everybody as of today. If you have not been called yet but requested the firmware, or you want to try it out PM me immediatley with your account information, tivo information, and network setup.

I tried for about an hour last night to get the daily call to work, no go. I wasn't even able to make a test call. At one point I couldn't even make a regular phone call. That cleared up and I was able to make an outgoing call, but still no TiVo call.

I just checked my box and it SUCCESSFULLY made it's daily call last night, well 4:45 this morning. This was the first daily call completed through my Vonage line, since I got Vonage last October! I have been doing the PPP over Serial method, but I am going to leave the phone line hooked up and see how things progress.

Is there any chance of getting these improvements in the firmware for the PAP2 ATA?

Motorola just released a new firmware for the caller-id issue. The problem with the pap2 is there is no way for you to upload the firmware. We would have to do it on our end for you, and im not quite sure if that is going to be done until we get at least the first or second round of results in.

Don't forget, a lot of this is being done by just enigma and myself, and a lot of it in our spare time so it may be a slow process, but we are making headway and will continue to keep you guys updated.
