Post subject: It works
My ReplayTV Panasonic Showstopper 2000 finally works after the s/w upgrade. It took a while to play with the settings but finally here's what worked.
Slow Unit to 19.2kbs
Use *70 and *99 in prefixes
And a DSL filter in line.
Now manually connecting I had to do it maybe 2-3 time before it connected. Once connected the unit was starved for info downloads were long and sometimes it got hung up. But I was running at default speed there(33.6kbs). There has been a phone number update which I changed for ReplayTV. Once I had captured most of the data I started playing with the speeds. 19.2 was most consistent and that is where I left it. Thanks to
Vonage
for giving me my Replay box back.

I just upgraded last night, but haven't had a chance to test it with the TiVo yet.
The upgrade went quite well. A
Vonage
rep called me and walked me through it, had me up and running in about 15 minutes.
I'll post an update when I get a chance to place a daily call to TiVo.

Right now me and the person who is actually heading this whole project are in the process of calling all the people that informed us they were interested in the update. You should hear from us by the end of the week. If you do not hear from us, PM either me or enigma.
Thanks, and be patient guys there is a lot of work to be done by only 1-1/2 people.

I got my call, and my upgrade. Everything went smooth.
Using ,*99 and ,#019 I can now get my series 1 TIVO to make a good test call approximately 30% of the time - which is a 30% improvement over what I was getting (which was 0% of the time). I am going to stop off and get a DSL filter from RadioShack tonight and see if I can improve the %. Certainly a step in the right direction!

I received the upgrade last night and all of my test calls were successful. When I tried to force a daily call it would fail. When I got home today and checked it out the daily call last night failed and I can't get a test to work. I'll fiddle some more later when I get a chance and see if I can get a different setting to work. ,#034 worked best last night. Keeping the faith!
