i think that's the lates update. mine was from version 1.1 i guess, after i'm done with the setup, it was updating, then got interrupted by a power surge, haven't really used mi unit for long

I just sent you my details requesting the firmware patch. I'm hoping you're not swamped with requests for the firmware.
For the curious, what technical parameter does the firmware patch address? I'd be interested to learn technically, what changes were required to enable the Tivo modem to make a call successfully.

So did I receive the upgrade? I called customer support today and requested this upgrade. I then sat on the phone while the guy said the upgrade was taking place. I seen the power light blinking as it does with various upgrades. Here are my versions:
Voice Version: 3.1.3(LI)
Customization: Customized
Firmware Version: 1.28.00, Feb 21 2005
This seems like the same version I had before.

Hey, can any of you who have the firmware post it up somewhere where we can get it? I'm one of those frustrated DirecTivo users and PM'ed both people, but there's been no response. I know enough that I can flash it myself, just need the firmware to do the flash and hope for the best.

I've got a RT31P2 with the firmware upgrade and tried all of the different prefixes without any luck. Guess I'll try PPP for my DTivo DVR80s.

I received a firmware email for 1.28/2.14LIVa. After doing the upgrade, my linksys still shows 2.13LivB for voice. It appears the firmware didn't take. Has anyone experienced this?

VONAGE
WANTS YOU TO GET A FAX LINE TO MAKE DATA CALL ON THERE SERVICES. THE WILL NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM 100% BECAUSE THE WILL LOSE MONEY AND IT WILL MAKE THE NEED OF A FAX LINE USELESS.
THE WAY TO MAKE YOUR TIVO WORK 100% ALL THE TIME IS WITH THE BROADBAND SETUP FOR STAND ALONG TIVO AND PPP FOR DIRECTV TIVO BOXES.
I SETUP MY DIRECTV TIVO WITH PPP AND IT WORK PERFECT!!!
