I never imagined that my existing home phone number will be transfered this quick. It was done within 10 days and with smooth transition. I followed the process of what Vonage required to port the number and I did it accordingly. oh, one thing I would like to mention - I had a distinctive ring feature at bellsouth which I have to cancel and then I called bellsouth again after one week to make sure "is it possible to cancel my number" and they said Yes for everything. Then I transfer the number. I'm happy of what Vonage has done for me.
Updated Date: Number Transfer Progress History: April 18, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization April 18, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received April 18, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier April 25, 2005 Carrier Approved Transfer April 27, 2005 Completed LNP Transfer
Thanks,

Wow!
I am actually having an opposite problem with Bellsouth. Been waiting since February 23 for a port. |
