the phone. Does Vonage have the ability to determine what data they send me which affects how it's displayed on the CID?

I'm not able to delete the preceing 1 when adding to the phones phonebook and all incoming calls display as 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx.

that other thread was showing numbers as 12 digits, but if you're seeing 11 digits, that is correct, it doesn't matter how yu diala number, 11, or 10 will call anyone in Can/US and 7 digits will dial anyone in your area code.. so if you recieve a call form someone and want to call them back by te CID feature, then just hit dial, it will go through, even if they are in your area code..


now the 12 digit problem in that other thread, that would be a problem cuz you can't dial 12 digits..

(ona side note, I did btw, have a call from Holland come in the other day and it was 12 digits, (shold be 14) it was correct except the first 2 digits, (01) it had the second 1 and then country code, and city code and number..)

the point of the other thread is that the 1 is added by Vonage, which is why I posted it. whether that can be changed was left unknown.
the other 1 was from the guy's phone.
