HP 3015 Does not rec./send faxes with vonage

I have an HP 3015 and Vonage nor HP can figure out why the hell my fax machine has a communication error on almost all of my faxes. I am quite pissed with the service. Vonage told me to put the DSL filter on and it will be fine- didn't work. HP says that the machine is set to Vonage's specs. I dont know what to do, anyone know anything that may help Twisted Evil

probably by dumping the hp 3015, right?

I have the same problem with my HP 3015, but I use RoadRunner Cable Modem/phone service. They came out and boosted my signal and other "stuff" - left - and now I have the problem again. I heard rumors that the modems in some of the HP 3015 might not be compatible. One can't identify which HP models might be affected (modems might have changed within the same HP 3015 models).

I was able to fax in January - but NOT at all now - so it might be the modem in the HP machine - but it certainly had to be due to changes that they've done on their end.

I shut off the ECM (error correcting mode) and my faxes finally went through - yippee! See page 65 of the HP 3015 manual for how to find that setting on your fax machine. Note - if you're doesn't work after this - have them come out and test your signal/line quality (we had that done first).
