The PC and Vonage router just need to be on the same network (ie) 192.168.15.x.
Then open Cain and see picture below.

What is your current setup? usually you pick on the left the ip of the router and on the right the ip of the router going out to the internet. What IP's do you have listed on the right hand side? |

If I select my router ip on the left ... 192.168.15.1 ... on the right I have the ip addresses of the pc's that are connected to the router. |

what IP's do you have on the right? Are they all internal? Do you have more than 1 router in your network? |

Yes the IP's on the right are internal but they come from the vonage adapter/router. Yes I do have an additional router on the network but its sitting behind the vonage adapter/router so this should not cause a problem correct?
On The Left I have the IP of the Vonage Adapter .. 192.168.15.1
On The Right I have the IP's of the computers that are connected to the Vonage Adapter.
192.168.15.100
192.168.15.101
192.168.15.102 |

It seems that you are jumping through hoops to record a call.
I posted earlier in this about how I do it.
I have been recording calls once a week, in mp3 format. crystal clear, didnt have to do anything special with a modem....look at my post...I think you could of gotten the results you are looking for by doing it my way, but you may also like to tinker with pc's. Please dont take this offensively

Could you post the link please? I'm curious to see how you are doing it but I'd like to also figure out why it's not working with Cain. I'm not sure how you're doing it but I want to actually capture the packets rather than using a recording device and sound card. |
