I have Vonage at my house and love it. I recommended it to family, and they have all signed up. One of my cousins got Vonage and want me to install it. At my house, I simply followed the directions: disconnected outside POTs, plugged in Vonage and everything worked.
However, at their house, they have TWO lines because they're doctors on call. They are switching their everyday POTs line to Vonage, and wish to keep their other hardline for hospital calls. Certain phones in their house can take calls from either line.
My question is, how would I install Vonage? At my house, we only had one line, so I could disconnect the outside POTs. But with two lines at their house, with one of them being kept live, how would I do this? I do not want to send voltage over the inside wires and burn out Vonage.
Any help is greatly appreciated. |

I tried searching google and these forums, but to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've called Vonage 5 times and each time I got a person I could not understand, nor could they understand me. |

Just use multiple handset cordless for Vonage. You can get around $50 for panasonic brand. and Plug landline in to homewiring.
Easy solution |
