Attempts to access via *123 result in invalid PIN code messages

I have enabled/disabled voicemail via Features and this has not helped.
When is Voice Mail access going to be fixed? Customer service (when you can get through) has no clue.....
This has been going on since Monday. |

I had the same problem of being unable to access voicemail from the Dashboard. Here's what I did and it now appears to be working:
- disabled voicemail - disabled email notification of new voicemail - enabled voicemail - enabled email notification of new voicemail
So far it's still working so hopefully it's just some bug when initially activating email notification of new voicemail. |

I am a brand new subscriber to Vonage and I am having similar issues. I tried the suggestions posted above and now I seem to be able to get into the Voicemail in Dashboard but it is still not working right.
- I have voicemail messages but they do not apper in my Inbox. Is there a delay before messages will appear?
- I have set email notification with Voicemail Attachments but I am not receiving any attachments. I do receive an email... just no attachments.
- I tried changing the Email Notification to go to a different email address, to see if the attachments would show up. Vonage is still delivering the email notifications to the old email address.
Is this "normal"? |

I am able for the first time to access my voicemail from phone and dashboard.....very happy! I did have to reset my PIN from the dashboard in order to get in from the phone. This is the first time since I started my move to Vonage in September that everything is working as advertised. It took 4 months to port my number over........ |

I ran into this problem as well. The cause of my problem was changing the PIN on the Dashboard and then going into the vmail system and changing it there as well. The Dashboard didn't work so well cause it's not real time.
I ended up changing the password back to default and regained access through the Dashboard. Then I went through the vmail system (*123) and changed the password (PIN) again. This time, both systems properly synced. |
