I can now see the phone numbers but get an error. An error log was sent to MS as well as Firefox and then the browser closed. Oddly, the error did not occur on the 1-866-243-4357 number of Vonage but did occur when I clicked on the 1-732-650-6699. (I believe this was do to the fact I attempted to do this several times...tried to dial that is)

I was able to see the error:

Click2call error:
101: Number you are trying to dial from is invalid.

However the info for the login, etc, has not been changed. It's the same as version .3.

It sounds like two things happened here.

The "101" error is actually generated by Vonage. I am unsure why repeated dialing would cause this error, I couldn't reproduce it. Does C2C still work for you? Is this repeatable?

It sounds then as if your browser crashed. This may have something to do with how the extension is handling this error, or it may be that the extension somehow corrupted memory and the result was both errors.

If this is happening more than occasionally please let me know. Meanwhile I will be working to improve the code as I get time.

Steve

Well. It doesn't actually dial out it just kicks up the 101 error.

You're right. The browser did crash. Only the once though. Odd.

Can you login ok, do you see your phone number in the drop down menu? When you try and place a call what happens? Im a Vonage employee, if you would like me to help you, please respond with the info, as well as your password so we can test here. Thanks.

It never dials?

Let's reset your from number manually.
- Go to the page about:config (type it in the address bar).
- In the filter box type "click2call".
- Double click the from number and then re-enter the value.
(This is an alternative to setting it through the extension's option dialog.)
This fixed a similar problem for someone else.

If this doesn't work then I need you to try to place a Click2Call call manually. See https://secure.click2callu.com.

enigma91884: SBMongoos is having issues with the Firefox Click2Call extension. At this point I think the problem is related to the Click2Call extension and not to Vonage's Click2Call service.

well...may laptop has FF v1.01 with out Click2Call installed. So...I updated to v1.03 closed FF, reopened then installed Click2Call .4. I've got the same problem as the recent issue on the PC. The numbers are listed but I get the 101: error.

I tried editing the click2call under about:config. No luck though. Will keep trying.

Appreciate the feedback...

hmmm....found a fix. Not what I expected.

I was just reading some other issues about Click2Call. I decided not to use any 'caps' in my login name. Now the Click2Call works. Odd thing is my username had caps in it before in the previous version and it worked fine. Must have been a tweak in the code?
