For the past week when I go to make an outgoing call - this is intermittent) the person on the other end CANNOT hear me. This is a new problem for me. I did reboot my Vonage router and that didn't help. I am using Time Warner Road Runner for my broadband connection and have not had any issues up till now. Can't get to the "Contact Us" link on their web site and I am not going to wait 45 minutes on hold. Anyone else having issues in NY or have any tips on how to fix this? Thanks! Alex |

if you had looked at posts on the first page alone, much less actually used the search function, wow, you would find this is becoming quite the issue. http://www.vonage-forum.com/ftopic5259.html http://www.vonage-forum.com/ftopic5211.html because of the recent spate of posts, and their variety, I'm not real sure what the problem is, but in the past a good way to tell if it was your internet connection would be to check (and post) your detailed results from testyourvoip.com boston server, don't post the mos number alone like everyone loves to do, post the detailed results. running pingplotter.com over an extended period of time is also a good indicator of your connection, and may work better for you since the problem is intermittent (because you can keep it running for days at a time and see when/where the packet loss is occuring) unfortunately, it's no guarantee that either of these tests will indicate a problem, again due to the variety and volume of recent posts with the same problem, leading me to believe it could be a Vonage issue. |

reebok, with all due respect could you please guide people to what they're looking for without the condecending remarks. I've seen this on a few of your posts with other folks recently, especially newbies, and it's a real turn-off to people that come here looking for help. While you have a great deal of forum experience, others may not. |
