Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a copy of xTen software for my Pocket PC? Do I need to go to xTen and buy the software myself? I see where you can download the free PC copy. I do have a softphone account through Vonage.
Thanks!

I'm just catching up on all this Voip on pda stuff. Can I use SJlabs program to accept (or send) Vonage calls? I take it using GPRS would be horrible?

thanks for the feedback. I'm testing this out at my office right now and it can't connect to the Vonage service. I'm assuming it's because of my firewall. I assume I need to open the same ports as the what I have at home...correct? |

Tommy13v,
Have you tried the Linux version? If so, what are you distro are you running? I've got SuSE 9.3 Pro and was thinking of trying it.

Yes, you will need to open ports for the traffic to get through and I am currently using CentOS 3 which is like RedHat ES 3 and Fedora Core 3. I am thinking of getting a copy of Suse as I did like using it a few years ago. |

SuSE 9.3 is really the best I've used in years. They even have Xen as a standard program. I use it on x86 and with my 64-bit computers. It's sweet!
What ports need to be opened again?
Thanks, Tom |

I will give 9.3 a try. I did do alot of work with Novell with Suse to get Groupwise running on it but that was last year and have not done much since.
These are the ports that need to be opened,
5060 – 5061 (UDP) 10000 – 20000 (UDP) |

Does anyone have a copy of the free pocketpc app from xten? If you could post a link to it that would be great. sjlabs software is good but doesnt allow for custom dns per entry. Thanks
