Vonage does support fsk. I'm 99% sure your phone doesn't support voicemail MWI, only answering machine MWI. if your phone does support voicemail MWI, then chances are it will only work with the answerming machine turned off. |

You say Vonage supports fsk, but is that turned on by default, or do I need to ask them to turn it on?
Why are you 99% sure my phone doesn't support voicemail MWI when Uniden's website says it does?
My answering machine is turned off and has been since I activated Vonage voicemail.

Vonage uses both fsk and stutter tone afaik. it shouldn't be any type of option. I'm 99% sure because I can't find what you're referring to (post the link) but also because of what the manual says. and of course since it isn't working... |

I had the problem of No Message always lighting up my Motorola Cordless phone when I signed on. It couldn't hold a charge, even if it was in the cradle. I got rid of it and got a newer Panasonic and haven't had any problems. Problem was when I signed on Vonage was lacking in the CS department and I couldn't get any kind of fix. I really like the new phone so it wasn't so bad. |

Hey all.
I've got a Motorola cordless phone that worked like a dream until I signed up with Vonage, which, despite the current glitch has been an excellent Voip.
OK, the problem:
Every time, after listening to my voicemail messages and exiting Vonage voicemail, my phone blinks with this absolutely ridiculous and useless "Message Waiting Off" alert.
I'm on the phone frequently with clients, etc. and this freaking alert disables my speed-dial and generally drives me nuts.
What do I need to do stop this message from appearing?
Thanks... |
