I installed mine on November 15,2004 and sent in my rebate right away. I finally got my rebate yesterday. I actually forgot that I had it coming since it was soo long ago.

Hello,

Thanks for the link to check rebate status. Checked this morning and had this message....

Error(s): The MAC Address submitted is not valid or was not activated at www.vonage.com/activate

Well, I made copies of everything before I mailed the paperwork last Feb. My account has been active since Jan 23 and I did verify that I summited the correct Mac address of my PAP2. Vonage mailed out a "non compliance" post card yesterday. Hopefully the post card will have info on who I should call to get this corrected. Is there a number I can call in the meantime?
I just received a postcard 2 days ago that my rebate was declined because it was "previously awarded!" Smile I emailed CS about this immediately. Within 24 hrs. I received a response that they verified that it was declined, that they resubmitted the necessary paperwork, and requested a check. CS told me I should see it in 3-4 weeks. I guess we'll find out... Smile

I received the wireless router, purchased from Circuit City, as a Christmas gift from my Dad. Since he had paid for it, I made out the rebate form in his name, including ALL information requested and the upc/mac address codes from the box.

Thanks to this thread, I just checked the status of the submission, and it said that it was declined because I didn't include the Vonage account number. I feel that NO WHERE on that form did it ask for such a number, because I left nothing blank.

Rebates are a real rip-off! Can anyone tell me how would I go about seeing if this can be corrected?

Email dslreports@vonage.com or call the toll free number that is on the postcard that you will receive stating your rebate was declined.

Bought a retail kit at Best Buy in December. Didn't send rebate stuff in until first of February, but received my rebate end of last week. Everything went through fine the first time.

Just wanted to share that I did receive my Vonage rebate. For Linksys PAP2 purchased at Office Depot in November 2004, activated November 28, 2004.
