Has anybody else noticed a change in their upload speed after last nights Comcast problems? Mine seems to run around 256 up, instead of the 384 that I was getting. |

Yes, now that you mention it...It's almost like the upgrade they did recently was rolled back, or something...My down now is like 3.1 and up is 260, whereas just before all these problems yesterday I checked it and it was 4.1/385
wierd! |

Does anybody agree with the standard explanation the Comcast techs use about the older your computer (My old win 98 system with 600 meg left on the C drive!!) the worse the speed tests will read?? |

Internet speed has very little to do with your hardware, unless your running 386 or older with win3.1
Lets keep updating this thread with your upload speeds to see if and when Comcast gets us back to 384 |

I heard their DNS servers took a crap, so that's probably what's causing the flakey speeds while everything gets back to normal. |
