Post subject: Issues with wireless connection
I have had my
Vonage
setup for about two weeks now and I notice that sometimes when I'm on a call my wireless network does not work. I used the following instructions to set up my network and made no changes to the settings on my D-Link 614+
http://www.vonage.com/help_knowledgeBase_article.php?article=61
Although I have not tested thoroughly it seems that when I make a call the wireless network remains in tact but when I receive a call it does not work until I hang up. I have my phone QoS set to the max and again, I did not change any settings on the D-Link. I also did not use the CD that came with the
Vonage
LinkSys router. I just followed the above instructions and was up and running in 5 minutes.
I have not quality issues with my phone service, just the network issues. Do I need to change settings on my D-Link?

what type of phone are you using? 900mhz, 2.4ghz, 5.8ghz
2.4 ghz is the same frequency of your wireless signal.
I had issues, but I was able to work through them by changing the signal on my linksys router.
hope this helps.

I was using a 2.4 ghz but just switched to a 5.8 ghz 2 days ago. I will go online and test the phone again. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully that's it.
