My number ported yesterday and I initially had the same concern... since my POTS line had a dial tone. But when I re-read the email I received from
Vonage
, it said my land line would be active until midnight. Midnight came around and sure enough, when I picked up my POTS line all I heard was dead air. I also logged into my Sprint account this morning and my account info has been changed... the current bill says "$N/A" instead of a dollar amount... so I'm pretty confident
Vonage
took care of it all.
Hope that info helps. If your POTS line is still active tomorrow, you might want to contact
Vonage
and/or your local carrier and make sure the port completed successfully.
