Post subject: Full traffic on linksys ports when in a call
Here is the setup:
Linksys cable modem into the Linksys RT31P2
As you know that RT device has 3 ports on the rear.
Mine is connected with 1 port for the wireless A/P, 1 port for a 5 port switch and 1 port for connecting my laptop.
When I am in a call all the ports go to full traffic and the wireless activity light goes to full. The wireless signal is overloaded at this point and is useless. As soon as the call is done, everyting is back to normal.
I can repeat this time and time again on every call.
The weird thing is I see traffic on all 3 ports and the switch lights go crazy as if I were transferring a large file from PC to PC.
Ideas here???/
Also anyone notice that support has greatly improved and hold times are now not bad at all!!!
Thanks
