Does anyone know if Vonage has a virtual PBX feature, are about to come up with one soon?
If not, which other services do? I am currently a Vonage user and looking for this feature as well.
Thanks! |

Good Question. iTEL-ip (www.itel-ip.com) is a full service virtual pbx provider. Their service starts at 45/mo but has unified messaging, free web based MS exchage e-mail account, in and outbound fax, call recording, presence, ACD, and a "host" of other features. Pun intendid
You must use them for internet, but the reason is so they can guarentee voice quality (QoS).
Here is a link to another thread on this same issue.

Hope this helps. |

I was looking for a Voip PBX too. There's a company called Easy Office Phone that provides Voip with a PBX. You can transfer callers, put people on hold, have different departments and even extensions. Their website is located at http://www.easyofficephone.com |

I'm curious how long you have been using Easy Office Phone? Their rates are considerably higher then most other solutions. How would you rate the quality of service? Have you called support yet? I have to say that the list of features is quite impressive. |

I started using them about 4 months ago because I run a small business and have 2 other employees who work from home. We each have an extension and can answer the incoming calls from our respective home offices. The quality is really good, just as good as my landline was. We were assigned an account manager and I can call him whenever I have questions or need help. We pay $49.99 per phone line for unlimited long distance in north america. |

$50/ month unlimited would be a better deal but this is what the website says:
SMALL BUSINESS PLAN $49.95 / month This is a great plan for companies who make a lot of local calls. Local calling and incoming calls are included in your plan on your first phone line. You can still receive more than one phone call at a time or you can purchase additional unlimited local phone lines. Choose a local number or keep your existing one Receive a free toll-free number or keep your existing one Receive 200 free Long Distance or Toll-Free minutes Unlimited incoming and local calls on your first phone line Use of additional phone lines is just $0.06/min Long Distance and Toll-Free minutes are just $0.06/minute Full access to lots of great features |

True enough. We just told our account manager that we were not interested unless it was unlimited long distance and he said that was fine. Actually he said that they were supposed to be comming out with an unlimited long distance package for businesses in the next month or so. |

I have never heard of easy office phone but I have heard of Junction Networks. They have been around for at least 3 years and they exclusively provide business Voip service. I think they are partnered with some big Voip providers.
Anyway, they sell a hosted pbx service that is 100% sip compatible so you can use any sip phone or soft phone. It is totally flexible so you can log in from anywhere and on multiple phones too.
Everything they sell is a la carte, so there are not "unlimited" plans. But, my experience with many clients tells me that the unlimited plans end up costing more than per minute.
They have a great hosted pbx plan for $39.95 which includes all of the virtual pbx functionality PLUS 5 voice mailboxes. If you need more mailboxes, they are a measly $2 per month. Extensions and users are free. So, you can have tons of people with extensions and simply get them voice mailboxes if needed. It's really cheap.
Check them out. There is a free 30 day trial of the hosted pbx service.
good luck! |

We use a Virtual PBX in our office and have been very well pleased with the service. We have not had any service issues and the company we use is very helpful and they have been for us as our company has grown over the past 2 years. At first I was a bit skeptical of the "Hosted PBX/Virtual PBX" idea but I am really glad I decided to go with it. It takes away a major burden in having to maintain a traditional phone system.
The Company i use is called Cytracom. They are based in Dallas and have clients all over the United States. There Website is: http://www.cytracom.com/
I have recommended these guys to several entrepreneur friends of mine and just thought I would post this for anyone looking for a good, stable company! |
