I love DST, I hate driving home from work in the dark too for most fo the winter, it's depressing, just go home and sit in teh house..
I was out East a few years ago, and there is a small town, that stradles teh NB and ME border, well, NB is Atlantic, and ME is Eastern, so this town has not only an International border in the middle of it, but alos a time zone in the middle too.. from what I read, this town is totally bi-national, alot of stores there is only one of, some are in NB and others are in ME, they were going to take the Customs officers out but then 9/11 happened, so they are still there back to back on the little bridge talking to ppl as they pass.. gee, that new passport law would suck bad out there, I hope Bush puts a top to that law..
my time is still behind on my phone btw.. haven't heard back form customer service either, other than my reply from Patti who said she was forwarding my complaint to teh "proper" ppl.. LoL.. |

I just got this problem resolved. Turned out that Vonage had my router internal clock set on Alaska and not Central Standard time. The time on the Caller Id is coming from the time on the router. I have the Linksys RTP300 and if you log into the router administration and look at the status tab you will see the current time that the router has. Mine was off by 3 hours. |

some of the RT31P2's needed an update from Vonage Tech Sup. to get it fixed.. I had sent another e-mail off after my last post here and within a few days I got a reply saying it was fixed and it was going back to Standard time this fall was problem-free  |
