Hello, I have an annoying occurance on my Vonage setup. During calls, I will get a moment of about 5 seconds where the call is cut-off for about 5 seconds. During this time, they cannot hear me, I cannot hear them. It will happen every 10 minutes or so.
After this occurance last night, I ran the QOS test from this site while on a Vonage call. It was 90%, not bad! Any ideas why this is happening? I have tried 2 different phones, connected directly to my Vonage adapter. They are both wireless phones, I don't have any wired ones. I have 2 802.11b/g networks in the house. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I never had problems with the phone/wireless when on POTS.
More info: My cable modem runs into a D-Link wireless router. The Vonage adapter plugs into the routher, and is on it's DMZ.
Any suggestions? |

I would suggest trying the Vonage adapter between the cable modem and the router. This will give priority to Voip traffic and still allow your PCs to function on the internet. http://www.vonage.com/help_knowledgeBase_article.php?article=61
