When people leave messages for me, I am not getting an e-mail notification and worse, not getting the stutter tone to alert me that there is a message. |

I had this same exact problem about a month ago. There was no easy answer. I ended up calling tech support and getting a ticket opened. Below is a quick summary of how it ended up getting fixed for me:
I deducted that it was a Vonage Voicemail system issue , and not on my, the customer, side since people where able to leave voicemails without any problems. I also followed this logic since just the notifications weren't coming through, and it wasn't just the notifications on my phones in my house, but the email notifications that are "kicked" off by their, Vonages, system.
I called into their C.S. and got kicked around to a couple of different reps. who had me power on/off my PAP2, then turn off, back on my voicemail through the web interface. None of this worked and the scheduled a technician to call me back. As a few days went past I noticed in my call log calls from Vonage, and a couple of Caller ID's that eluded to tech's calling into my home phone testing out the voicemail. Then suddenly my notifications started working again, both on my phone and via email.
I then received a call about three days after everything started working, approx. 6 days after I placed the original C.S. call to Vonage, from a tech asking/wanting to work the issue. I had told him my story and that it appeared to now be fixed, and it's been working since then. |

I spent a lot of time on the phone with them. A woman named Vivian Jamison managed to fix it on their end after about a one hour phone call. I don't know exactly what she did but she managed to fix both. Thanks,
Joe |
