I am a new user of Vonage and my old SBC number is transfered to Vonage. If I connect any phone directly to the adapter's Phone 1, It works fine as it is supposed to be.
Now I connected, Phone 1 of Linksys adapter to the wall and all my 4 phones in house are having dial tone, clear voice while I make calls. But when there is an Incoming call none of the phones are ringing.
Any Ideas how to fix thie ring issue? |

welcome aboard. I had the same problem with my line 2 port and it drove me nuts. The WAF (wife acceptance factor) was severely tested, as well.
I spent HOURS on the phone with Vonage tech support (and not to mention hours HOLDING for Vonage tech support). they tried a couple of different things, including voltage adjustments. Ultimately, I got them to send me a replacement router.
The tech support guys might be able to move your service to port 2 of the router and see if that works better. My port 1 worked fine on my original router, but my port 2 did not.
Ultimately, though, you would be best off to request a replacement router.
Good luck! |

Call Vonage, tell them to max your ring voltage and also increase you output power levels. Once they did both of these 2 mine all my phones rang properly. |

I assume these settings are only available on the Linksys device? I have the exact same problem, but the Motorola MTA and the Vonage reps don't see those settings at all.
I've ordered a new device - maybe they can fix it after that arrives. |

Did you D/C your existing POTS lines first, before connecting Vonage to your whole house? ?? |
