I'm new to this Vonage service but after a week of signing up, it's still not up.
First off, Customer Service has to be the worst service I've ever dealt with. Currently, I've called them 3 times. Everytime I've waiting 30 minutes, then the music stops and it goes straight to a ring with no one picking up. Horrible.
Yesterday when I did get someone, they struggled with the English Language. I didn't get anywhere.
Maybe I can ask the question here. Here it goes...
I have the Linkyss Router and I need to hook it up to my Netgear Wireless Router.
My question is , can I hook up a Satellite Phone Base right from the Linksys phone port? If I do this, can both my phones (satellites) work?
I'm trying to avoid the whole thing about disconnecting my phone line from the outside and activating the jacks in my house. I hope this isn't confusing to anyone, I'm still figuring this all out.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

If what you mean is having one base stations and 2 wireless headset that route to that work station than your answer is yes it will work. http://www.vonage-forum.com/setup.html That link will guide you on how to properly install your router with your Phone adapter "Linksys Router". If you would like to set up a RIP Network let me know I be more than glad to help you. |

Got it rolling. It's working, but not because of their Customer Service, it's from this forum.
Long live the Forum!!!
