I'm currently in the US on a high speed cable modem service. I have 2Mbps down and 256kbps up. I generally get between 40 and 70ms pings to most sites in the US.
Soon I may be moving to the UK, where I'll have high speed Internet, but the latency will be much higher to the US.
Over the Atlantic is about 100ms (IIRC), so that'll make the latency significantly higher.
Can anyone suggest if it would be reasonable to use this service with a ping times in the region of 100-200ms?
(Also, is 128kbps definitely enough if you have good latency, or should I try to get 256k)
This will be for a small volume of business calls.
