I'm thinking of getting Vonage, but one of my biggest uses will be the voicemail to take messages for me when I'm not available. This will be very, very important, and I'm not liking what I'm reading about the voicemail service so far.
Could anyone (from Vonage or otherwise) update us here on the status of voicemail? Is it stable?

I've had "iffy" results from the voicemail.
Also, I've taken to using the forwarding function, but it doesn't forward consistantly after the same amount of time (which I've set in the dashboard). Not certain that it's a big problem or was just a couple of time thing, but I did notice some inconsistancy. |

This is a new one on us...
We typically use the phone to access voicemail, and I was a little concerned when I logged on to the Web and saw 14 "new" messages". After listening to them, we realized they were all ones we'd "saved" using the "save" button when accessing them by phone.
Not really a problem, but kind of odd. I can't say we've had a problem with voicemail since Vonage implemented its new system, a couple weeks ago. But I'll probably still check my outgoing greeting weekly for now.
