Hi all,
Right now I am using the wired Linksys adapter for Vonage. If I were to call them would they let me exchange it for a wireless one? If so, would there be a fee?
I would call and ask, but 1-2 hours hold time to be told no is a great waste....
Thanks for any info! |

Vonage does not ship wireless routers. They only ship wired RTs. If you want the wireless router you will have to but it yourself and call them to do a MAC swap. Just make sure you keep the old one in case you terminate, you can send it back to them and avoid the term fee.
They will not give credit of any kind for the purchase of the wireless router. |

I would just buy the Linksys WRT54GS and not buy the one with the phone ports. The router is partially locked so if you want to change providers, you'd never have full access. Don't waste your money. Just get the WRT54GS for wireless and plug your Vonage adapter in behind it. |
